A New Found Energy

So according to my last post, I was going to actually spend some time keeping this blog up to date.  That was early January and we already in the last half of February and I’ll actually get another post done.

It’s been quite the roller coaster the last month and a half.  I’ve gone from pretty much ready to quit SureFire IT Solutions and do something else, to being more focused than ever to grow and develop the business.  I have my associates in HTG to thank for getting my head out from the dark and remembering why I started SureFire and what we do for our clients.  We spend some time in our last meeting going over my business and putting together some action items for the next quarter.  The number one item that came out of the meeting was to review in detail our internal processes.  I have spent the last couple of weeks reviewing, changing and make some hard decisions.  We have some major changes happening at SureFire over the next few weeks.  I am looking forward to them.

Our Small Group at Eaglemont Church here in Beaumont just started the study of “Walking with God” by John  Elderidge.  Since I have a hard time finding the time to just sit and read, I opted to try the audiobook.  It is a nice change to just listen and focus.  The first part of the book he talks about relying on God and having that “constant” conversation with him.  I’m still getting to the meat of the book, but I’ve already found the first few illustrations very valuable.  Remembering to keep God on the front of my mind while working and dealing with clients has improved my focus and helped my attitude.

Good to hear you are sticking it out with SureFire….Glad to hear HTG was able to help you with this decision. How are things going almost 2 months since the meeting, still have the fire in your belly?

This past quarter has been exciting at SureFire. The more we focused on internal processes and our current clients, the more sales opportunites we got. The HTG group was a great support in getting the direction and focus back.
